Why I love staying in Earls Court, London
Earls Court in London is a great place to stay in if you have moved to the city or are on holiday there. Although the vacation rental accommodation can be on the expensive side, it is worthwhile to stay in this neighbourhood. As far as hotels are concerned, Earls Court has several cost effective options that travellers can choose from including the Shaftesbury,
the Holiday Inn, the Mowbray Court Hotel and the K + K Hotel George. I usually opt to stay at the K + K Hotel George, which is known for its service and facilities.
Earls Court is one of the most popular neighbourhoods in London and is close to Charing Cross and several tube stations for people to get around with ease. The region is also home to the Earls Court Exhibition Centre which hosts hundreds of exhibitions, conferences, shows and concerts throughout the year. If there happens to be a good music concert or interesting exhibition going on the venue, whenever I visit London, I make it a point to attend. Some of the exhibitions held at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre include Cruft’s Dog Show, the annual Motor Show, the Daily Mail Ideal Home Expo and the Royal Agricultural Show.
I also enjoy staying in this neighbourhood because it is one of the safest regions in London and is host to several popular attractions like Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, one of my favourite places in all of London. Other interesting attractions that one can visit by taking a short stroll in the neighbourhood include the Royal Albert Hall, Holland Park and High Street Kensington. The region also has interesting museums such as the Natural History, Science and Victoria and Albert Museums.
Some of my favourite placesin the neighbourhood includes a cinema hall called the Finborough Theatre, the Empress State Building and the Troubadour café. There are some great pubs and restaurants in the Earls Court area and overall there are few bette rplaces to live in London, in my opinion.
