If you are ever one day planning to open your own sauna spa or wellness type center, Sauna Van Egmond in Haarlem is perhaps the business model you might want to copy. Very spacious inside and which several saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and a good sized swimming pool, this place also serves excellent food and is simply outstanding.
The only downside if there is one is that it is a bit of a pain to get to unless you have a bicycle and already live in Haarlem. Haarlem is situated just 15 minutes on the train from 
Amsterdam and then from Haarlem train station you will need to jump in a taxi for the 10 minute taxi ride to the sauna.
One in Sauna Van Egmond though, it is worth the journey and you can easily spend a whole afternoon or evening here. This is a classy sauna which is well organised, spacious and is very well maintained. They have thought of everything including supplying washing salts by the shower areas, giving food sample sometimes when you are in the saunas, relaxing music pumped into some of the saunas, a large food and dining area and several quiet areas.
We ended up spending over EUR100 for the 2 of it but we ate very good meals with drinks and we did not take our own gowns so need to rent the (white gown to keep warm when going outside and between saunas if you want to use it).
If you are in the Amsterdam area, it is worth heading to Haarlem specifically to visit Sauna Van Egmond in our view.
