Originating from the German word Edelstein, meaning 'precious stone', the sauna offers thermal, light and sound therapy that benefits both the body and mind and stimulates all the senses. Mediterana also has a Herbal Steam Bath, where visitors can enjoy steam therapy without the burden of swimwear.
The centre also has a "House of Meditation", decorated with a large, ornate Buddha statue and a sound system that plays experimental sound patterns from an Austrian artist.
