Mud
Massage
If you have tried massage with the normal oils and perhaps
also already tried the pleasure of a chocolate massage, then
the next thing you might want to try is a Mud
Massage.
It is not so easy to find a location which offers Mud massage,
as those which offer more common forms such as Swedish or Thai,
but there are certainly locations and cities around the world
where Mud Massage is certainly possible and popular.
One of my first introductions to Mud Massage was at the annual
Boryeong
Mud Festival in
South Korea. This 3 day festival offers a lot of activities
based around mud. The local mud is considered to have healing
properties because of its richness in minerals and mud massage
is one the activities you can try. Additional there are several
mud pools which you can roll around in or a pretend mud prison
and mud market.
Some of the World Top spas also do offer mud treatments including
massage and facials. Some examples include the:
Good Mud's
Over the years, a lot of research has been done to test the
properties and wellness benefits of mud and several studies
have shown that mud baths, massages and packs can very often
help people. Mud varies greatly around the
world with different levels of constituents and as well as Boryeong
Mud from Korea,
other popular muds include Dead Sea mud and
Moor
mud.
Dead Sea Mud and products
Dead Sea mud from Israel is one of the most
popular, so much so that there are a number of products for
sale online for example, with mineral muds, bath products,
soaps and even shampoos available. So what is it about the
mud from the Dead Sea you are wondering I expect. There are
over twenty minerals in Dead sea waters and most of these can
also be found in the muds from this area. Calcium and potassium
are just two of the many minerals you can expect to see and
which make the dead sea products excellent for hydrating your
skin.
